Branch Network Construction of Banks

To face up to more fierce market competition, banks are changing business models in their outlets: traditional deposit to private finance, general services to differentiated services and traditional over-the-counter operation to marketing operation.

It requires bank outlets to change their function from settlement to marketing, improve cash business automation in outlets to replace over-the-counter transactions; reduce pure settlement businesses and increase marketing businesses; have customers try various businesses, offer more finance products and all-round finance services; maximize potentials of quality clients and seek new business growth mode for banks.

In line with the new requirements on outlets, the following shall be paid more attention to:

  • Integrating network and telecommunications infrastructure with new technologies, realizing faster application processes configuration, high expendability and greater reliability and offering application processes and data access in a broader scope;
  • Connecting outlets with family, office and customer call center, completing multimedia (video, voice and data) integration through almost all channels (web, ATM, outlets, internet and call center), providing clients with one-stop finance services via tailor-made channel, offering more finance products and all-round finance services;
  • Reducing costs and complexity of delivering new services at bank outlets.
